A Taste of Philadelphia is a chance to indulge in fine dining on a fast food budget with entrees that might cost $20 or more in fine dining venues but each taste here is five dollars or less. This event design allows visitors and participants to stroll the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing while sampling delicious food and learning more about what makes Philadelphia food famous. Plus, each day of the event will be accompanied by exciting live stage entertainment.
A Taste of Philadelphia will highlight Philadelphia’s reputation as a restaurant city for three days. Last season featured crabcakes, Asian fusion, Southern cuisine, and of course cheesesteaks from some of Philadelphia’s most famous restaurants. Cinematic Titanic Live is the theatrical version of movie riffing-- the comedic art form we created over twenty years ago in the form of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Performed in a theater, the five members of the cast take the stage and riff on a feature film in front of a live audience.
